manuscript : the wet studio

( copyright 2004 - all rights reserved )

A web-based art project that acts as a chronicle of the peculiar process of preparing a new experimental literary work titled Suture for publication, and the rarified use of my bathroom as a kind of "wet-studio"; the works/writings in this series, though cleanly expressed in their end form as collaged words on a printed page, are being generated through a complex series of ritualistic, abstract and performative processes. These processes occur at their earliest stages in the bathroom, and in their later stages at a computer. The project was commissioned by curator Susan Douglas for mobilelog.ca as part of the <moblog/enter> new media/web art group exhibition (in association with the AGOG Festival);
